The Webley Tempest is a classic British air pistol with a rich history.
It was produced between 1979 and 2005, with a second run from 2011 to 2019.
It was designed as a smaller, more manageable alternative to the Webley Hurricane,
catering for shooters who found the Hurricane too large.
The Tempest is a spring-piston powered, single-shot air pistol with an over-lever cocking mechanism.
Caliber: It was available in both .177 and .22 calibres.
This Pistol was, Compact and lightweight, it had a Rifled barrel, Adjustable trigger, Manual safety catch and Simple open sights.
Here we have a very early example of this superb pistol in.177 calibre, produced between 1979 and 1981 it is in good working order.
This pistol shoots accurately and with good power however the black paint finish has worn off in several places as It has lived in one of our toolboxes
for the last 20 years due to a missing a rear sight. An example of the offending sight was obtained recently and hence it is now up for sale.
This would be an ideal and very reliable first pistol for someone learning to shoot. It is very smooth to fire and feels good in the hand.
This is often referred to as one of Webley’s best pistols.
