Hy Score Sporter Single Shot .177 Air Pistol

The Hy-Score Sporter Single Shot Pistol was a British-made air pistol produced by Phoenix Arms in England between 1989 and 1994.

It was a single-shot, break-barrel pistol chambered in .177 calibre.

The Hy-Score Sporter was known for its accuracy and power, and it was a popular choice among target shooters and plinkers.

However, this British version is far rarer than its American counterpart.

This British made version was based on the American-made Hy-Score pistol, which was first introduced in the 1940s.

The British model was updated with a number of features, including a rifled barrel, a threaded muzzle for a silencer, and an adjustable rear sight.

The Hy-Score Sporter was available in both blued and chrome finishes.

Here we have a superb example of this pistol in excellent condition.

I noticed that the loading tap appears to have been browned rather than blacked, and I don’t know if this is original.
